Breath of Our Ancestors
Each generation leaves a legacy for the next. We breathe the same air, walk on the same earth and drink the same water as our ancestors before us. We also inherit many of the physical attributes and postures of our lineage and embody many of their behavioral patterns and beliefs. Some still work for us, and many no longer serve our highest good. As we resolve the patterns and traumas from past generations that we have embodied we free up ourselves as well as our family energy which in turn affects all humanity. Our part is to end the cycle. In this workshop through conscious connected breathing and awareness techniques we will explore how we hold these patterns from the past in our body/mind and learn how to open to the freedom of the present.
The Breath of Liberation
We will explore the concept of the Inner Child and how this relates to healing our family lineage. When we are children, we have such a free spirit, we are vulnerable, trusting, open and full of joy, and presence. But sometimes life circumstances can make us begin to hide the full expression of ourselves, we create coping mechanisms, and suppress our emotions. In this workshop, we will learn the importance of reconnecting and embracing our little ones, allowing them to regain trust, and uncover the joys that life can bring. And how to maintain an ongoing relationship with these parts of ourselves.
Sacred Ceremony

For a shamanic ceremony led by Indigenous Brazilian shamans, inviting ancestral wisdom to guide your healing and transformation. Hello. I’m Vanessa Scott, Intuitive Energy Healer and Breathwork Facilitator
I began my journey as a pharmacist, using her scientific expertise to support physical healing. However, soon I realized the limitations of pharmacological treatments and I felt a deeper calling toward emotional and spiritual healing.
This realization led me to explore meditation and mindfulness, that not only transformed my life but also unlocked a profound sense of inner freedom and self-acceptance.
My journey reached new heights in 2023 when she discovered the transformative power of Breathwork, through the training with Alchemy of Breath.
This experience became a pivotal turning point, inspiring me to integrate Breathwork – breathing – into her healing practice.
Today, I guide individuals in connecting with their inner power through Breathwork and meditation, helping them to access deep healing, love, and freedom.
My podcast, Pura Energia Positiva, number #1 on Spotify Brazil, for mental health and spirituality in 2020 and 2021.
At the momento, I pursuing a master’s degree in Mental Health, to continue blending evidence-based practices with spiritual healing, empowering others on their journey toward self-discovery and well-being.
Kerry Veitch – Breathwork Practitioner & Trainer Warm Water Rebirthing Retreats
Kerry has been connected with Rebirthing Breathwork, since 1993, with a focus now on embodiment practices such as Internal Family Systems and Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing, as well as her shamanic studies with Northern Drum. Kerry has a trauma informed approach, and is the owner and trainer of AIR School of Breathwork, based in the UK. Kerry has also been teaching for Alchemy of Breath for five years, graduating hundreds of students into the breathwork community. She loves sharing the healing power of the breath with others, by holding warm water rebirthing retreats, weekly groups and 1:1 sessions.
Kerry also co-founded the UK’s first Breathwork Festival which is an annual event celebrating all kinds of breathwork and is a practitioner member of the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance, GPBA. Kerry’s very grounded nature holds a very safe space for breathers, holding them in their highest potential and being committed to the unfolding of each person’s own journey which of course is guided perfectly by our breath.
Alexandre Henrique – soundhealer
Alexandre, a native of Curitiba and resident of Florianópolis since 2015, is an experienced guide in meditation, spirituality and healing practices. Since he was 18, his path has been dedicated to self-knowledge, with a special focus on breathing techniques, expansion of consciousness and ancestral wisdom. His practices help to release memories, traumas and beliefs, allowing a connection with the true essence of each person, without the labels imposed by society.
With a diverse background that includes psychology, bioenergetics, electromagnetism, shamanism and forest medicine, Alexandre works to harmonize body, mind and emotions. He uses Sound Therapy – or Soundhealing – a technique that, through sounds and vibrations, provides deep relaxation, stress relief, mental clarity and emotional balance. Sound waves act directly on the subconscious, helping to access and resignify memories, promoting well-being and inner peace.
Renata Puma – Guardian of Cocoa
Guardian of the Medicines of the Forest, daughter of therapists, curious and studious from a very young age on the path of self-knowledge, initiated in reiki at the age of 11, and the path of shamanism at the age of 13, undergraduate in psychology, and trained in more than 20 alternative therapies, among them: kundalini yoga, NLP, EFT, alkqhemy lab by Joel Aleixo, yoni egg mothers, natural gynecology…
She has been leading experiences and immersions since 2014.
She currently lives in Florianópolis and continues leading journeys and mentoring, online and in person.
Pablo Castro – Breathwork Practitioner and Trainer.
Pablo Castro is a Breathwork Practitioner and Trainer. His passion for breath, somatic healing, the inner child and water therapy is at the core of what he shares with one to one’s and groups around the world.
He is a surfer, free diver and lover of the ocean, more and more he is called to work with and within the element of water. Pablo holds water breath ceremonies and has also trained with Wataflow.
His work has led to the profound realms of rebirthing and he is in awe of the gentle yet profound power of warm water, loving presence and gentle holding. With great love and honor he is deeply excited to be sharing this incredible work. Pablo has been a lead trainer with Alchemy of Breath for 6 years, and is based in Bali.
Júlia Brasílico – yoga and alternative therapies instructor
Júlia Brasilico has been a yoga practitioner and student for eight years and a teacher for five. In her classes, she proposes connecting with the body and feelings through movement, breathing and meditation so that her students can develop presence and lead a more conscious life. With training in Australia, Belgium and Brazil, she teaches in-person and online classes, in groups and in private, in Portuguese and English.
She is a student of body psychology and is training as a body therapist. She also provides therapeutic services in Emotional Listening® (Deep Listening to Emotions) and Access Bars, in addition to offering self-knowledge mentoring, helping her clients to have clarity, lightness and confidence in their path. Before becoming a therapist, Julia worked as a cultural producer in Rio de Janeiro for three years and in the corporate market for more than ten years.
Indigenous representatives
The Noke Koî Kamãnawa are an indigenous ethnic group that inhabits the Amazon region, in the state of Acre, Brazil. Known for their rich culture and spiritual practices, they preserve and value ancestral knowledge, especially regarding medicinal plants from the forest, which are used in rituals to promote healing and spiritual connection. Their ceremonies are led by spiritual leaders and include chants, dances and prayers, seeking balance, guidance and a deep connection with nature. The culture of the Noke Koî emphasizes the preservation of their traditions and the transmission of this knowledge to the next generations, keeping alive their cultural identity and their harmonious relationship with the environment.
